A standard banner (468 x 60 pixels, as shown at the foot of this page) , half-banner (a little under half that size) or a quarter-banner (a little under a quarter that size) can be placed just above the navigation bar near the bottom of the page, and shown all the time, for an entire year. If you don't have a banner but do have a website, it may be possible to create one from graphics on your website—for free. Graphics must be jpg or gif formats and cannot be animated or contain more than a single link. Alternatively your ad can be shown as bordered text that includes a link.
